with Z-Series
Francesca Gavin, who co-curated The Historical Exhibition at Manifesta 11 and has curated exhibitions at institutions like Palais de Tokyo, presents vc_on’s online exclusive Z-Series.
Balancing aesthetics and conceptual inventiveness, Z-Series is an experimental platform with a hand-picked selection of accessible works by emerging names and yet-to-be-discovered young talents.


Explorations: prolific positions from the 60s & 70s
For the second time, Explorations presents pointed presentations of artistic positions from the 60s and 70s.
Curated by Elisa R. Linn and Lennart Wolff, this year’s edition will feature works by artists like Diet Sayler (RO, GER), Tamás Konok (HU), André Verlon (AT) and Vera Molnár (HU, FR) by selected European galleries.
ZONE1: young artists connected to Austria
ZONE1 is one of the highlights at viennacontemporary. This year, vc_on takes ZONE1 online.
Curator Cathrin Mayer presents eight positions of young artists under 40 with special connections to the Austrian art scene.
